Zdravko Kuzmanovic has archived Fiorentina's UEFA Cup draw to focus on the Serie A fourth place showdown against Sampdoria this weekend.
The side from Florence returned unscathed from Glasgow following a scoreless draw in the away-leg of the UEFA Cup semi-final against Rangers on Thursday.
However, the Swiss-born midfielder admitted the Viola must prepare themselves for Sunday's clash against in-form Samp before turning their attention to the return leg against the Scottish side.
He said: "First we've got to face a tough match at home against Sampdoria and only then can we think about the game with Rangers."
Cesare Prandelli's men currently hold the upper hand in the chase for the last Champions League spot with a four point advantage over both Samp and AC Milan.
Stand-in captain Tomas Ujfalusi echoed the Serbia international's sentiments when he declared that the European campaign must be put on hold in light of the importance of the fixture against the Blucerchiati.
He said: "Now we need to concentrate on the match against Sampdoria. "It's important we recoup our energy in time ahead of Sunday's game."
